Clean up your resume

Step one is to clean up both your resume and your digital presence. It is generally best to keep your resume to one page. Fill it with key information regarding special skills you have, past experience that relates to the job you’re applying for, and anything else that helps emphasize why you are the best fit for the role. When it comes to social media, be sure and set your profile to “private” wherever possible. On public profiles, delete any photos, posts, or content that could be considered inappropriate or may give off the wrong impression.
